This week, we were delighted to talk to Oded, a successful Etsy seller and the owner of Arama shop. With a background in design and fashion, Oded wants to take his business to the next level with a loan from Bitbond. Our investors have still 13 more days to invest in his eCommerce loan @ 22.61% p.a.
Now without further ado, let’s meet Oded!
O: I am a graduate in footwear design studies from Cordwainers College, London College of Fashion and hold a Bachelor of Design in Fashion (with honors) from the Shenkar College of Design and Engineering in Israel.
My Footwear brand Arama is an elegant yet modern UNISEX footwear brand, designing high quality luxury collections, both beautiful and comfortable, that are hand made by craftsmen to the highest standards.
O: During my footwear design studies in London I've been privileged to come across amazing colleagues from the US , Canada, Japan & Europe. Most of us had thought about getting back to our homeland and opening a new footwear brand. As a Telavivian, I sensed a great opportunity within footwear design, especially menswear shoes. That's how ARAMA shoes started happening.
O: I find Bitbond to be a perfect fit as a digital funding for my ecommerce on Etsy. I believe the future of retail fashion to be online (rather than physical shops ), and the same goes to banking / financing. Digital financing is the future , so its a great match.
This loan will help me promote my Shop on Etsy, increase my inventory and make 2017 a year of great growth for ARAMA.
Promoting an online shop globally is a lot of work and requires a rather big budget, so Bitbond will make a big difference for me.
O: I love the ability to share my business & work with people globally.
I would love to add Instagram, Pinterest and other media to make it more dynamic to be able to share my story in a more personal matter.
O: I would like them to know first and foremost that I am dedicated to the success of my business and that their contribution to my business will make a 2017 a year of a great growth for ARAMA shoes.
O: Well, I think it is a process and a matter of time. The internet marketplace various platforms will embrace it more easily, while other physical platforms will need more time to do so. The younger generation will be able to connect to this technology easier, while the elder community will be more suspicious and careful with this choice.
O: At the moment I do not accept Bitcoin, but I guess I will do so in the near future at my ecommerce platforms. It is only a matter of time.
B: Thank you so much for the Interview Oded!
